Dr. Keith D. Balderston, MD, will join the Origin Health Team and cover for Dr. Fausett in Missoula periodically. Dr. Balderston, who practices at Center for Genetics and Maternal Medicine, in Oregon, will cover at the hospital, read ultrasound scans, and take call for Origin Health as needed.

Dr. Balderston completed his fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of California at Irvine, and his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. He earned his medical degree at OHSU as well, and his Bachelor of Science degree in biology cum laude from the University of Oregon. A three-time PAC-10 All-Academic Basketball Team Member, Dr. Balderston still ranks high in all-time stats at the U of O. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Balderston has extensive experience with patients with cervical insufficiency and pregnancy loss. He is an expert in vaginal and transabdominal cerclage placement.
