Our skilled Roots Birth & Women’s Health providers are experts at caring for healthy women and low-risk pregnancies from periods and birth control to pregnancy and menopause and everything in between. We provide evidence-based, holistic care and work with you to make the best health choices for you and your family.
Our women’s health providers at Roots Birth & Women’s Health not only provide prenatal care and deliver babies in a hospital setting, but they also provide gynecological care.
The Roots midwifery practice is part of the Origin Health family. Roots is a clinical partner with our Origin Health MFM/Obstetrics team: Dr. Bardett Fausett, MFM, Dr. Maria Huntley, OB/GYN, and Becky Bombyk, PA-C.
While Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) are independent practitioners, we believe in the power of collaboration. That’s why our midwifery practice is a part of Origin Health.
Because Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians (MFMs) specialize in “high-risk,” and we specialize in “low-risk,” we can complement one another to provide you with the highest level of care possible.
If you are having a healthy, low-risk pregnancy, you will be seen by your Roots midwives throughout your journey. However, if complications arise, we will be able to seamlessly access the MFM consultations that you need, keeping you and your baby healthy. If your pregnancy becomes high-risk and requires MFM management, we will continue to be a part of your care.
